Workshop Alert: FPPF's Cebu Photography Workshop

Photography's not just for people in Manila. For our shutter buddies in Cebu, you might be interested in FPPF's Basic Photography Workshop!
-----

The Cebu Photography Workshop will be held on October 21-23, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.

The course content is similar to our regular Basic Photography, compressed in 3 consecutive weekdays — Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Workshop fee is P5,500 per person, inclusive of meals and snacks for the 3-day seminar.

A team of FPPF mentors will hold the workshop. The team includes Ador Pamintuan, Prof. Joey TaƱedo, Dennis Araneta and Chris Malinao. The workshop will cover DSLR camera operation and handling, understanding ISO, aperture and shutter speed and how they relate to correct exposure, mastering depth of field, understanding how the camera meters, composition, elements of design, lighting theory and practice and a comprehensive introduction to the digital imaging workflow. The lessons will be full of hands-on exercises using the DSLR camera. The lighting session will simulate studio photography, complete with studio strobes, for the participants to have an in-depth understanding of lighting principles.
