Camera Cart Rental likes:The World Press Photo Exhibition August 2009

The much-awaited World Press Photo Exhibition can be viewed by the public on August 1. So what is this exhibit anyway? Okay, the competition has ten categories. Some 13 judges were selected to choose from loads of photos - submitted my newspapers, photojournalists and agencies from all over the world. It's said that for 2009, there were 96,298 photos that the judges had to sift through! Some 5,508 photographers entered the competition! What a feat!

There will be 196 photos to view for the photo-inspirational boost. And why we like it? Aside from the nice-warm feeling we get from seeing lovely photos, the exhibition is free of charge! Whoever said that the best things in life are free, is simply right on target.
